With the WALCO® L, Knapp GmbH has launched a new anchoring system for assembling prefabricated timber frame wall elements. With the L-anchor system, wall elements can be prefabricated more efficiently, transported, and assembled fast. The assembly time is reduced by up to 20 minutes per wall. The system consists of three parts: an angle bracket equipped with a reinforcement plate is anchored below the ground sill into the foundation. In parallel, a flat, L-shaped floor connector with a 5 to 6 cm overlap is fastened to the inside of the wall. After hanging the wall, the last two parts are fixed with pinpoint accuracy to form a firmly anchored unit.

WALCO® L and T
