A static folder for the MEGANT® heavy load connector with applications in modern engineered timber structures is available. Go to “Downloads” and the static folder can be downloaded after a one-time registration.

The MEGANT® static folder contains the characteristic and the calculated values for softwood and hardwood laminated timber, as well as LVL, CLT connections. You will find the load values for four connecting directions. Torsional moment (tipping of the secondary/beam/ rafter joints) is listed as well. The folder contains a formulistic derivation. Drawings with sample calculation help to explain the static stress values.
