The new Lignotrend headquarters combines continuous cross-laminated timber columns with main beams at the same height as the overlying Lignotrend ceiling elements. The connection is made using a special solution: Knapp Ricon S in-line connectors with a load-bearing capacity of more than four to five times that of a single connector. The Lignotrend ceiling elements were suspended into a notch in the main beams and screwed together with fully threaded screws.
