MODULAR
Our carcase and frame connectors made of spring steel for furniture construction and interior fittings
The Modular system is a concealed, self-tightening connector that can be disassembled. It is used in furniture and cabinet construction and can also be screwed onto metal profiles. Suitable for all wood, plastic, and chipboard materials from 16 mm, the processing can be carried out with a table milling machine, a CNC machining center, a long-hole drilling machine, or a manual top milling machine. Fastening is achieved using PH or SK screws up to Ø = 4.5 mm (length as required) and shoulder-head screws. Both individual connections and double connections with a shoulder-head screw and a sleeve bolt with an internal thread for middle walls can be implemented. With the Modular 4031 connector, the load capacity can be increased at larger depths. Cabinet floors can be inserted from the front to the rear and from the top to the bottom. Exact positioning is achieved with the aid of a drilling and depth jig for the connecting groove.
The shoulder-head wood screws are available in 13 mm and 16 mm thread lengths.
- Non-visible – fully concealed connector for corpus and frame joins.
- Durable – with the longer shoulder-head screw (16 mm), the strength of the connector can be increased.
- Efficient – use a CNC machining center for time and cost savings.
- Simple – this positioning can be executed exactly via the CNC machining center and enables the precise screwing-on of the connectors.
Tip: Save milling settings in your CNC machining centre’s program for consistent results.
